中国科学院合成生物学重点实验室（以下简称“实验室”）成立于2008年12月。实验室定位为合成生物学应用基础研究。实验室以发展合成生物学基础理论和创新使能技术为主导，建立合成生物学关键工程平台；针对健康、环境、能源等方面的国家需求，在分子、细胞和微生物菌群等层次上，实施合成生物学创制；并通过转化研究，推动科研成果产业化。

三、岗位职责

四、岗位条件

1、应符合卓越中心“一三五”规划布局；在本研究领域已崭露头角，做出过具有突出创新思想的研究成果；具有优良的科技创新潜质和较好的团队协作能力；

2、具有博士学位，取得博士学位后在知名科研机构、高校或大型企业研发机构等连续从事科研工作3年（含）以上；

3、恪守学术道德，学风正派、诚实守信、严谨治学、身体健康，具有为我国科技事业发展和国民经济建设而艰苦创业的奉献精神；

4、全时全职在岗工作。

Principal Investigator Position Openings

Key Laboratory of Synthetic Biology (KL-SynB), a basic research institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences (websitehttp://www.sippe.ac.cn/yjdy/hcswx/sysjj/), is planning long-term recruitment of principal investigator positions in diverse directions of basic researches for synthetic biology and engineering biology.

The CASKey Laboratory of Synthetic Biology was officially designated in December 2008. The KL-SynB is aiming at performing basic researches for applied synthetic biology. Focusing on the development of both theory and technology for synthetic biology, we have been trying to establish the corresponding key platforms directed towards biological systems, ranging from molecules, cells up to microbiota, to conduct applicableengineering researches with significant impact upon social and economic challenges. We hope that our created “engineered life” may eventually become both efficient and robust enough for industrialization through the scale-up and scale-out translational research.

Successful candidates are expected to develop independent and extramurally funded research programs/projects, and to participate in graduate and postdoctoral training programs.

Requirements:

Applicants must have (1) a Ph.D. degree, (2) at least three-year postdoctoral training, (3) sufficient research experience to demonstrate his/her significant accomplishments, (4) outstanding potential that fits the main research directions mentioned above.
