The Hiromu Kameoka lab at CAS Center for Excellence in Molecular Plant Sciences (CEMPS) is seeking a research assistant. We are working on the symbiosis between plants and fungi and trying to reveal the mechanisms by which they find and recognize their symbiotic partners. The purpose of this position is to facilitate our lab running smoothly, communicating with the PI and other lab members.

Job Duties

Oversee general lab functioning and maintenance, including:

1. Performing basic lab experiments

2. Order supplies and equipment

3. Help to keep the lab clean and organized

4. Manage transgenic plants according to the institute's regulations

(No special qualifications are required)

5. Manage chemicals according to the institute's regulations

(No special qualifications are required)

Minimum Qualification

1. Chinese and English language ability

2. Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Qualification

1. Experience as a research assistant

2. Bachelor’s, Master or Ph. D degree in Life Science
